Master of Nursing (OUM)

The Master of Nursing aims to produce nurse graduates who are capable nurse leaders to respond effectively and timely in the current complex health care environment. The strength of the program is the management, leadership and research courses offered in the program.

Demonstrate expert knowledge, critical thinking, clinical reasoning and clinical judgment skills to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Practice professionally, safely and ethically through strong moral and social values to fulfill responsibilities towards Creator, patient/individual, families, and communities.

Communicate effectively through oral and written form and develop collaborative relationships with inter-professional members of the healthcare team to deliver evidence-based best practices.

Lead and manage the organization through effective leadership skills to effect change using appropriate decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrate expert integration of scientific research skills, information technology and entrepreneur skills through lifelong learning for professional development and advancement.
